RODRIGO PADILLA

Rodrigo R. Padilla is a hairstylist originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, where his passion for beauty began styling his grandmother’s hair—an early influence that shaped his understanding of hair as both art and empowerment. After training as a ballet dancer and working as a flight attendant, Rodrigo followed his calling into the beauty industry at 23, studying in New York City and launching his career under Sally Hershberger. Known for his sculptural, intuitive, and minimal technique, Rodrigo creates powerful, lived-in hair for bold, modern women. Now based at Jenna Perry Hair, his work is inspired by main characters, unapologetic voices, and culturally vibrant cities like New York, Mexico City, and San Juan.
