Julie is a Texas native who began her career in 2017 at Milk & Honey in Austin, where she trained through an intensive apprenticeship before building a reputation for balayage, wedding styling, and makeup. In 2021, she moved to New York City to join the Jenna Perry Hair team, training closely under Jenna and sharpening her eye for elevated, natural color. Julie specializes in soft, lived-in hair—think hand-painted highlights, radiant reds, sparkly brunettes, and effortlessly grown-out blondes. Now a key part of the studio’s education team, she brings the same thoughtful, artistic approach that shaped her early career.​​
