Jenna Perry’s passion for the beauty industry began in her childhood, growing up in Rhode Island with a clear vision of her future. After graduating high school, she immediately pursued cosmetology school and, in 2005, made the pivotal move to New York City to immerse herself in the epicenter of fashion and hair artistry.

Over the next decade, Jenna explored every facet of the hair industry—from working behind the chair to collaborating on editorial shoots and assisting some of the most celebrated hairstylists in the business. That hands-on experience shaped her technical foundation and sharpened her creative eye.

Ten years into her career, Jenna shifted her focus to hair color, developing her signature approach: effortless, lived-in color with an emphasis on the art of balayage. Her distinctive aesthetic quickly gained traction among the fashion set, building a loyal clientele of top models, creatives, and tastemakers.

In 2019, Jenna opened her namesake salon, Jenna Perry Hair, a downtown New York destination known for elevated color, trend-defining style, and a vibe that’s as chic as it is authentic. Today, Jenna is recognized as one of the leading colorists in the industry—setting the tone for modern, wearable color and redefining what it means to be a creative force in beauty.
